Visit the grocerystore.Walk the aisles and consider the many products both packaged and unpackaged, hanging, stacked, or on shelves.

Chose an object or objects (a single product) to replicate.Consider texture, shape, weight, color, scale, and packaging.

Replicate your chosen item as accurately as possible.

All “products” will be displayed together in a mock grocery aisle. For critique, we will go “shopping”.

Research Pop Art, as well as contemporary manifestations of this historic art movement.
Pay careful attention to construction. You may use any material or process. You may need to incorporate new processes, such as screen-printing or bead welding. You will also need to conduct some trial-and-error prototypes. Additionally, you may need to order supplies and this will require planning. Remember to work in your sketchbook as you move through the project.
